A couple of my friends play in the Alberta Men's Hockey League and I went to cheer them on for their gold medal game. This game was INTENSE!!! My heart was pounding so hard for the better part of the game. Congratulations guys for a beauty of a win!

I went into photographing the RDAC Nationals without any prior roller derby photography experience (I've photographed several Grant MacEwan University women's basketball games-including the ACAC Championships, Recrational league hockey and longboarding) So sporting events isn't anything new to me.
I was floored by the response of love to my photography (especially from Edmonton's own team E-Ville) and landed in a few publications. Huffington Post, The Gateway and Avenue Edmonton!

You know that moment, when you see the finished photo before you even take it? That was this moment. I wanted to capture the warmth of the sun shining through the celing onto these skaters and knew this processing (and camera settings) was the best way to capture it.

HELLO!!!
Hello & Welcome to the new look of my photography website!!! I am SO GLAD to be back!!! I had to take a much needed break to focus on other things (Catching up with editing, working with Tanner Gordon & The Unfortunates on their new website/music video/online stuff/etc. I also moved which was super exciting-I am still getting organized! )
